Alumni Spotlight
Wisconsin musician Lukas Jaeger is a talented violinist, violist, and vocalist with over 20 years of experience performing with many different styles of music; from lyrical opera to jazz. Lukas finds meaning and joy in life through creative collaboration. Whether it be on stage, in a classroom, or in a corner of a cafe. Lukas' current project is a collaboration with musician Ian Gould, performing Irish music across the country. The duo has been invited to perform in venues across Ireland, Scotland, and Japan. Some of Lukas' other notable solo achievements include performing for the Swedish Ambassador to America as a part of a diplomatic exchange hosted by the SAI (Swedish-American Institute) and U.S. Federal Government, performing for the King and Royal Family of Norway, lead roles in the premiers of several new operas at MN Opera: The End of Saro by Jack Langdon and Swede Hollow by Ann Millikan, as well as voice acting in several (unreleased) Disney projects.

Katy Faracy is a Manhattan based woodwind doubler and performs in pit orchestras and live music venues throughout NYC. She has performed numerous times at 54 Below and was a part of the Off Broadway revival “Sugar The Musical.” Katy has performed with The Princeton Symphony Orchestra, the Grammy-nominated Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra, acclaimed contemporary music ensemble Present Music, and The Broadway Tour of Chicago the Musical. She is a member and co-founder of the woodwind quartet Crimson Winds performing a range of classic medleys and new pieces. Katy is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she spent her time studying saxophone, clarinet, and flute, and discovered her love for musical theater.

Jordan began her professional dance journey at 16, joining Portland Festival Ballet. Since then, she has danced with companies such as BalletMet and Fort Wayne Ballet. Recently she performed soloist roles with the Jerusalem Ballet. In addition to her work in ballet, Jordan has experience in the film industry, appearing in productions like Fly Me to The Moon (Apple TV), Love and Murder (BET), Found (Warner Bros.), and Tyler Perry's All the Queen's Men. Jordan's background includes training in both classical ballet, hip-hop, and ballroom dance, and she brings this diverse experience to her role as Director of Wisconsin Dance Theatre Conservatory. She is committed to fostering growth and creativity in her students while supporting their individual paths in the dance world.
